The World Unites
It has amazed me how so many people can unite for what they believe in. People in different parts of the world have united for one cause – perfect strangers have stepped up to the plate. What is the cause, you ask? Why that would be growing your mafia in Mafia Wars.
I can’t believe how many people, virtual strangers, are now my ‘friends’ on facebook (and myspace) all in order for me to grow my mafia and for them to grow theirs. (I’ve got over 500 ‘friends’ now on facebook and my new myspace account is growing too.)
All I could think about as this goes on and on was, ‘imagine if there was some worthwhile cause that people would join in to as easily as this’… a political issue; world peace.
It’s amazed me.

@Kim – Mafia Wars is the only one I can really figure out. For a while I thought I was gonna have to stop because I was spending money on it (like $150 for reward points). I thought I was gonna have to give up facebook because I didn’t know if I could stop myself. Then I did. I’m ok now
