Yes Man

Jim Carrey plays a guy who’s withdrawn into himself after his wife left him (3 short years before), and his friends keep trying to get him out and about, but he’s not answering their calls.

He runs into an old friend who tells him about a program where he can become a “yes man”, someone who says yes to everything in life, thereby really living and experiencing life.

Jim becomes the yes man and good things start happening to him. Whenever he says no, bad things happen.

The show was amusing, had some funny lines and scenes. I was expecting a sequel to Liar, Liar, but this was not that (for which I’m glad).

Not a bad little time waster.

Pretty much the same way I felt about the movie as well. Although the ending was probably the best part :)

Cute av you’ve got there, Lyndon :)

Jim Carrey makes me crazy! I want to like him, because he is Canadian, but I can’t.

This was one of his better ones.

@mommyknows: I know what you mean, I could never stand him and his stupid over-the-top faces, until I saw him in The Truman Show. In more serious movies, I don’t mind him at all.
