New Garage Door
As I pulled in to the driveway, there were a bunch of strange men staring me in the face along with my snookey, our downstairs neighbour and the owner of the building. They were all learning how to operate our new garage door.
I thought it was a light grey. Apparently it’s white.
It looks nice. It’s one of those automatic garage doors as opposed to the kind you have to pull up yourself. Apparently the owner was having trouble being able to get the garage door opened now that she’s so old, so she’s had new garage doors put on. Hers gets installed tomorrow (they live right beside us).
She was all ecstatic doncha know because my snookey had to clean up the garage in order for the installers to be able to get in and install. She’s been bugging him for 12 years to clean that garage, and, finally, it actually looks like there’s some space in there.
As a matter of fact I could sleep in there if I ever got mad at my snookey wookey (or send him down there, much more likely).
And the nice thing? This door locks. We’ve had a garage door that didn’t lock, all the time we’ve been living here. And let me say that we’ve got a helluva lot of crap stuff in there. I’m happy there have been no incidents due to no locks. Well other than the fact that my son managed to take two air conditioners out of there that he said he thought ‘were his’.
Maybe our insurance prices will go down. Probably not.
