Mother’s Day
I had the best Mother’s Day ever – I did absolutely nothing. Just relaxed the entire day and didn’t have to worry about a thing.
I even slept in til 9:20 – although we didn’t go to bed til 2:00-ish, however, it was almost 8 hours sleep.
Later on my son called to ask about coming over tonight to cook me dinner, I said “sure” – who wouldn’t? And my daughter called last night and said she had something for me. We won’t be getting together til the holiday Monday though, she’s very busy, apparently, and only had Wednesday free. But I don’t want to bother doing anything on a work night, I just want to go home and veg. So Monday it is then.
I can hardly wait for the upcoming long weekend. I’m taking the Friday off and the Tuesday off, so that’ll be like a week’s vacation. I could use a good vacation. Maybe then I’ll appreciate the job I can’t stand and just be happy to be employed. I doubt it, but we’ll just wait and see.

I didn’t even know we had a long weekend coming up! Guess I should actually look at my calendar sometime.
