Tamil in downtown Toronto
My daughter and I happened to be down on Yonge Street today when the Tamil demonstration was going on. I have no idea what it was all about (other than what was on the signs), and just wanted to get the F outta there before anything unfortunate happened.
A friend of mine was down there too, and she sent me these pictures that she took. It was loud, it was crowded, it looked like the perfect opportunity for a shooting to happen.

That actually wasn’t the Tamil Rally, it was No One is Illegal which is about all migrant workers and their struggles in Canada. The Tamil Rally was going on at University Ave. near the US Consulate.

@Jesse – I just thought it was a Tamil demonstration, but now that you say the stuff about University, that will explain why I had to take an alternate route home – it was just packed over there.
