Worked from Home
I was working from home today. Mostly because I have this cold and I can’t stop coughing (at the office – not so much at home). I don’t know why that is, but the office air is not too good for me.
Anyway, I was working, started around 7:00 and then was having trouble with connections so the real work didn’t start until 8:00 – which is the time I actually start work.
I had many reports to work on so it was good that it was a fairly slow day. But then I had to run out and get some Tim’s and all I could think of was, watch…. there’ll be some urgent, emergency that only I can handle and they’ll email me as soon as I’m out the door.
So of course I raced back into the computer room and, of course, there was something for me. At least it wasn’t an emergency ← what am I, a surgeon? So I think that nobody noticed that I didn’t do it right away.
I finished up just after 4:00 and decided that I was on my own clock now. I’m going to relax, and watch a movie, I think. We rented Apocalypto in Blu-Ray. I’ve seen it before (and if I remember correctly, I think I liked it), so I might watch that again tonight since it’s not really movie night – Saturdays I need the new movies.
That’s all for now. I’m free (relatively cheap).
