Where’s my Beer?

Why is every stinking beer store out of my beer? I have been to at least 5 different beer stores over the past couple of weeks and not one of them has any of my beer.

It’s made by Brick Breweries and it’s happened before. Who knows, maybe it was around Christmas time the last time. They don’t have enough bottles so I guess they use their bottles up on their more popular beers, I dunno.

Tonight I was prepared to pick up 3 cases of the stuff if this beer store had it but they didn’t. Instead I picked up two cases of Sleeman Clear (supposed to be low carb). I would have got Labatt Sterling, even though it has an aftertaste, but it only came in 24-packs and I wanted to carry 12-packs, so I went with the Sleeman.

This beer is more expensive than mine, so let’s hope it tastes half decent.

Ok, why am I rambling about beer. Probably because I won’t be able to get any of mine now til into the new year. Assholes.

“My Beer” is Amstel Light, and if none of that I’ll agree to slum it with ‘Lite Ice’.

Only one of yours I’ve down see here is Labatt, I think it was in Sydney Australia when I was at a ‘Pub’, can’t be sure as I was trinkin lots of small bottles with vodka and flavours, and dancing.

    (Not a pretty sight)

That’s funny, BFG, for years my beer used to be Amstel Light – years ago. Then they stopped making it available and I switched to something else. Then they brought it back but then it was a ‘premium’ beer (as opposed to one of the cheapest and lightest beers around, which was why I drank it).

  3. So – what kind of beer is yours? Just so I know to have it whenever I get around to inviting you over.

@momontherun – PC Low Carb (2.5 carbs with only 90 calories) – one of the cheaper beers around at about $30 a case. Although now I’ve tried that Sleeman Clear, it’s good, just pricier, but I’ll drink it if they’re out of mine.
