Yes, it’s hard to believe that I design my own graphics for this site (and all my sites), but I do. Thank you, thank you. *applause*
Now, obviously I’m no designer, but I’ve come to love that little cartoon ‘me’ so much that I can’t have my site without it. And I remember in one of my posts where someone was insulting me and telling me how amateurish my designing was, where all I could think of was, ‘ya, that’s why I like it’. I drew it by hand, I modified it on my computer, and it has become the symbol for me. I love it.
I want it to look as amateurish as it does. I want it to be my own creation. And I’m pretty damned proud of the fact that I created something I like so much and am certainly unashamed of having it represent me.
So to all those who find my designs amateurish… thank you. I am an amateur. If they were more polished, I probably wouldn’t like them, and, after all, this site is for me.

I HATE it, I mean its so, so purple, but then purple is ok, and the glasses are kinda cool, and you are smiling so thats ok too and then its on a little slant so thats just cute you know, so…

hey I did a google search as I am wanting to learn more about how to make my own grapics, clipart. I am a stay at home mom who is wanting to branch out in personilzed stationary as a hobby. I want to be able to make my own clipart to my stationary but have NO idea where to even start as far as what programs you need. Would love some suggestions, thanks!!!
