Happy, Happy Birthday, Me
Yesterday at work somebody asked how old I’d be today and I said, “52″. They responded that I was well preserved, that I only looked 42.
I’ll believe them (well, I don’t really) and convince myself that they weren’t just being polite – cuz what else were they gonna say, “oh… oh, 52, did you mean 62?”
And, as usual, every stinking year with the same song, there’s my birthday song below. My daughter’s just embarassed now at how high her voice sounded when she was…. what, 10?

Happy birthday! You’re family is full of great singingers – my dog didn’t even howl when listening – and that’s sayin something!

Happy birthday!! “Preserved” sounds weird, like you’re pickled or something. But I do agree with your co-worker.
I still haven’t reached an age where I’d rather hear people call me younger than I look. Looking forward to it. Maybe I’ll wake up on January 16 and feel like that.
