New TV and Stand
Keep in mind, now that I know where everything hooks up to, I’ll have to insert all that wiring down into the center post, but since I had a bunch of wrong other wires hooked up before, I couldn’t fit them all in at the same time.
So I have a bit of work left to do so it’ll look good, but I’m very happy already with the quality. One last thing I’ll have to do is see if I can find a wire that is speaker connections on one end, and RCA cables on the other.
Since I’m not keeping the DVD (giving it to my son), I can’t connect the subwoofer to those connections, I’ll have to put it into the RCA cable on the back of my receiver. However, there are two sets of speaker connections on the subwoofer and one RCA connection on the receiver. I’ve never seen a cable like that. 4 to 1. If I can’t find (or even make) something like that, we’ll have to have our sound without the subwoofer.
BTW, do you think my daughter could have been watching some high def, high tech, special effects show on the new HDTV? Or did it have to be lame-ass Full House.
