My Opinion Counts
I’m in a good mood and I have absolutely no idea why. The only thing I can equate it to is an all-afternoon meeting I had today.
Not that the meeting was exciting or anything – it wasn’t. However, I did put my two cents in and made some suggestions, and I was actually listened to, and my ideas implemented.
How’s that? That’s pretty damned good. I don’t find myself in too many situations in this job where I actually get to input AND have my ideas put into place. I felt good being me. Something good happened in my life. It was a little thing, but it was still a good thing.
So go forth and be happy all you others – I’m happy, you be happy. If you’re happy enough, I’ll even give you a brand new, still in the wrapper, Bryan Adams CD, entitled “Bryan Adams, The Best of Me”.
All you have to do to win this CD is write in the comments about your happiest experience and I’ll give the CD to whomever makes me happiest with that comment. (And if you don’t like Bryan Adams, just write that you don’t want the CD but you can still tell me your story.)
I’ll post the person’s name who made me happiest with their story, and then they can email me the shipping address.
C’mon now, people, surely something had you happy. And besides, when do you ever get something for free?

OK! I’m happy I get to vote tomorrow. Yes New Zealand is having a general election, yes I know its not as exciting as an “African American” vs “Strange woman from Alaska and some old white guy”, but there it is.
Oh and hows the toe??????
Happy experience? Hmm let me see. Oh how about the time I came across your Blog back I don’t know when, and your name was changed due to a Mega Global company’s marketing campaign managers idea of a Great Idea with noodles. Made me fall off my chair that did. And then I found out you were some real Canadian person, and cute too in that oddly unique way you Canadian Chicks have. I’ve always liked the idea of working in a remote snow covered place like ‘Missingtoeontheleftfoot Cove Vancouver’ or something.
