We’ve been movie rental fools these last few days since Thursday. We started of with 10,000 BC, last night we had Meet the Spartans, and tonight we’ve got The Flock.
Want a quick synopsis? Let’s start with something really quick… 10,000 BC. Don’t rent it, what utter drivel. Why was the guy wearing a watch in 10,000 BC? Ok, no he wasn’t, but there certainly were a lot of what I thought were awfully advanced things going on considering that this was 10,000 years before Christ. When I see movies about Christ’s life and times, things weren’t quite as advanced as they were 10,000 years before.
Meet the Spartans… I wanted a stupid movie and this one didn’t quite live up to it. It just wasn’t stupid enough, it was pretty lame. We may have had a smile or two, but, c’mon, make me laugh, will ya?
I don’t know what to expect from The Flock, although neither of us is overly fond of Richard Gere, my snookey being a big hater more than I. Let’s hope there’s some suspense and mystery and tears or laughs, anything but boredom.
That’s all for now. Perhaps tomorrow I’ll talk about real life.
