The Hit Man
We’ve resorted to renting B movies because there’s nothing left that we haven’t seen – other than Chuck and Larry, and who wants to see that? No wait, we could have seen The Mist, but my daughter didn’t seem too excited about a horror movie, so we went with this one.
Lame. Ok, not lame as in ‘total chick flick’ lame, but my honey turns out to be right. Every movie is a chick flick. There’s always a girl, always a guy – even if he’s a hit man – and the girl and guy almost always end up together, or there’s at least interest on one side.
There was lots of shooting. Something you might expect from a hit man. And our hit man was either very cold and aloof in his dealings with people, or a very bad actor who couldn’t emote to save his life.
I started dozing off, of course, but I think I saw all the shooting. And I never lost the plot of the story which is that the hit man has been set up and all kinds of people are now trying to kill him.
Tell me… if you were some big, highly paid, elusive hit man, don’t you think it would be a good idea if nobody actually knew who you were?
Rent it if you want. It’s a time waster and probably better than watching something on TV, like Project Runway or something.

Well thanks for the heads up on Hitman. I got a couple of stinkers for you to avoid as well “Run Fat, Boy Run” and “Walk Hard – The Dewey Cox Story” Both had potential but fell flat, rent only if you can’t find anything else to rent and your really bored!!
Thanks, Lyndon. I saw a commercial for Walk Hard last night and I was thinking, hmmm, maybe I’ll get that this weekend, maybe it’ll be funny stupid. Now maybe I won’t.
