I am Legend

Will Smith plays an immunized doctor who survives a plague that has killed off most mankind, and those it hasn’t killed have been turned into zombie-like monsters akin to vampires in that they can’t come out into the light.

It was a great movie. We rented it the night after renting No Country for Old Men which I had high hopes for but that one had a shitty ending.

However, Will Smith continues to impress me with his acting in that he doesn’t seem like he’s acting; he’s very believable in his roles. There was even a crying part for me (oh, a chick flick).

I highly recommend this one and not so much the Old Country for No Men, or No Men for Old Country or whatever, even though the killer in that one was very believable.

I thought I was the only one, who wasn’t to impressed by “No Country For Old Men” Like you said the killer was interesting, but other than that I didn’t find much to keep me entertained.

I’m kind of on the bubble for “I am Legend” A bit of Will Smith blockbuster type movied out. Would love to see him in an indie film, just to see if he does still have acting skills. He was kind of good in “6 Degrees of Separation” but that was a long time ago.

Hmmm – can’t say I’ve seen either one :( If these darn kids would sleep then I could get back to watching some movies! (Well besides Horton Hears A Who)
