It Feels Like Friday

It’s terrible to realize it’s only Thursday when it feels like a Friday. I feel like partying. I feel like having some beer and listening to music and doing other stuff while I’m singing along.

My snookey almost had me talked into some beer. He has some in the fridge. I don’t drink that kind – too heavy, too many calories, carb-laden. But when he was talking about having a beer, I certainly did think, “ya, why don’t you run out to the beer store and get me some!”

I’m still pondering that notion even though I’ve lost 3 pounds already on this diet and he’s lost 6. Let me tell you, 3 or 6 pounds are only noticeable on someone who weighs 50 pounds – not on me or him.

Should I have some beer? Should I not? Yes, I should. No, you’ve already put almost a week into this diet. But The Donald is on tonight. Beer would go good. You’re not gonna get skinny drinking beer.

Acchhhhhh. I gotta stop thinking about this. Let me have a sip of water.
