However I did manage to surprise her with some cool Christmas gifts: a bead board, bead storage containers, a calendar, a wallet and some sort of bead pliers thingy. As for the kids being kids, I seem to remember being a kid and I was supposed to buy presents for my entire family. Sometimes it seemed that I had no money for anything else because I had so many to buy for. Then when I got older I had to change it to just the immediate family.
