Ocean’s Thirteen

Even though we don’t normally rent movies on Fridays, we did last night… we rented Ocean’s Thirteen.

I suppose it wasn’t bad – as long as you’d seen the other ones and knew who the hell these people were.

Because as a stand alone, you wouldn’t have had any idea what the start of the movie was about; there was no character identification, build-up, or anything that would have given you a clue as to what the movie would be about.

I guess they knew that the only people who would be watching this movie would be the people who had already seen Eleven and Twelve.

Since I always like a twist or a scam, I liked the movie enough, but the plot was relatively lame and character development pathetic.

Old buddy (Elliot Gould) gets rooked, has a heart attack, they’re going to avenge him by robbing the guy who screwed him. End of story.
