Perfect Stranger
Bruce Willis and Halle Berry team up for this fast-moving, suspenseful thriller. No, not really. It was not the least bit fast moving.
You know those movies where 20 seconds after the movie starts there’s some big action scene, some mystery you don’t know about, and you’re saying to yourself, “I don’t know WTF is going on here”. This movie is the furthest thing from that.
This movie is so slow moving you’re saying to yourself, “c’mon, can we get to the action”?
Halle Berry is a journalist who just had a big expose pulled and decides to quit. A childhood friend comes to her with the inside scoop on another big story. Childhood friend, of course, gets killed. Who was the childhood friend having an affair with? Mr. married Bruce Willis.
So you know the story, our reporter friend is out to prove who the killer is.
There’s a twist. The best thing about this movie was that I hadn’t figured out the killer – that never happens. If it hadn’t been such a dragged out movie, I would have given it a better rating since it wasn’t bad.
