Too Much Work
Jeezus I am busy at work. TFB is off on vacation this week and asked me to take over one of his reports. I started it Monday but haven’t had a moment since to get back to it and I don’t think I’ll get time in the two days that are left. I have 7 reports of my own to get done.
Seven stinking reports to do and in between trying to do my reports (I’ve only got one done), people keep requesting things from me… IT things that won’t get done unless I send the go ahead. Needless to say, today I only got half of another report done.
With the way things are going this week (and I’m also off on Tuesday as a longer long weekend), my work will not be finished, and there’s no one around to take over for me while I’m gone. TFB will sometimes do my stuff if I’m not going to be there, but he’s going to have to do his own work when he gets back since I don’t have time to do it.
Perhaps they need to hire more staff. It seems they just keep adding and adding more stuff onto my job. Are they thinking I have lots of spare time on my hands?
And today I was tied up with no computer for about an hour since someone was trying to get one of my programs working again – it hasn’t worked ever since I installed the dual monitors there, apparently there’s some conflict with the driver and the program.
And speaking of dual monitors, I finally got an email back from the guy I bought the cord from on eBay. Apparently he said it takes about 10 days for the delivery, so I’m expecting that some time after the long weekend then.
So far I’ve just been looking at the monitor on the right. Now I’ll have to get out of that little stiff-neck-making habit.

I’ve got a stiff neck today from adjusting a PCB with 966 components on each, and I did 11 of them today.
