July Stats
Yesterday I was looking at my stats and this is what I found:
Total visitors for the week was over 3000 people. I was wondering, WrTF did 3000 people find my site? What were they doing here? And how come so many people on Tuesday?
Then I looked at the ‘unique’ visitors and it said there were 3,351 unique visitors this past week. That averages out to 671 visitors per day. That’s frickin’ unbelievable! And I’m not using up even a quarter of my space or bandwidth here.
But it certainly makes ya wonder, if there are 600 visitors a day, how come nobody ever says anything? How come no, ‘ay, how ya doing?’, no ‘your blog sucks and so do you’, no ‘why don’t you eat shit and die’ comments?
WTH are all those people doing here (it’s certainly not talking). It’s just too weird. Have I got a porn site linked to me or something?

If I look at my stats at my host provider I see that I get at least 400 unique visitors per day with peaks up to 1600 unique visitors.
Unfortunately, when I look at my google Analytics numbers (which gets confirmed by another tracking service) I see got 130 unique visitors over the WHOLE month. So for it means that the provider stats include all the visits from robots (and also RSS readers) which I think completely throws my numbers off.
I am sure you get a lot more visitors than me but your numbers might also include robots.
