Sunday Catch Up
How did the other interview go? I dunno. The guy seemed to be a true techie, meaning not overly buoyant and more focused on computers than on people, and not easy to read. Oh, and BTW, I don’t need any comments from anybody telling me that I’m dissin’ techies cuz I’m not, it just seems to be a common character trait that I’ve found amongst those who spend most of their lives on the computer.
Ya, so anyway, the guy seemed very hard to read. I can say he ‘seemed’ to like me and that I thought the interview went ‘pretty good’, but I don’t know that for sure. I’ll have to wait and hear back from the HR department – who spend their lives dealing with schlubs like me who are waiting to hear whether there’s good news.
Last night we rented something – Chow Yun Fat, no we did not have chinese food with it, Curse of the Golden Flower, that’s what it was.
That is one honking strange movie let me tell ya. I think it reminded me of Oedipus in the twists but then it was subtitled and I was also falling asleep to it in parts. Needless to say, I didn’t feel like I had missed much. The guy at the video store told me it was an action movie and, I, like the big sucker that I am, believed him.
