No Jinxes Please
I had a job interview this morning at 9:00 in the company I’m working for. That was the best honking job interview I’ve ever had.
It was so clear that he was impressed with my skills and wanted me for the job. He was telling me that he would talk to HR to see if they could take the ad down off the intranet or find out whether they had to leave it for a period of time.
It was fabulous, dahlings, simply fabulous. Now the kicker. On Thursday I have to have another interview with a guy I would be working closely with in the new job. He has to love me too. For crying out loud, the guy I would report to loved me, isn’t that enough?
So you need to keep me in your prayers this week (if you say prayers) or keep good thoughts of my future telepathed to the world. Hopefully all will go well and I will get the job.
I can’t begin to tell you how disappointed I’ll be if I don’t. Ok, I’m not even going there. I’m just thinking positive thoughts for the rest of the week. Even if I don’t get it, I’ve got a job til the end of the month.

I hate multiple interviews, they drive me nuts. Hope everything goes well with your next one. I don’t pray much, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you. (Trying to type should be interesting this week

We Finns keep our thumbs up to wish luck so I’ll do that — it’ll be much easier to type with 8 fingers than with crossed fingers.
