Costco Trip

As I was coming out of Costco today I was wondering, ‘where the hell are my car keys?’ since they weren’t in my pocket. You’ll be proud of me that I did not buy the pair of pants and jacket that I saw there and had in my cart, I put them back and only picked up the 484-box of gum.

I searched through my purse and couldn’t find my keys. Not in pocket. Not in purse.

As I neared the car I noticed that I hadn’t locked the doors so that was a good sign. I thought that maybe I’d left the keys in the ignition.

Well, boys and girls, not only did I leave the keys in the ignition, but I left the car running! I left the stupid car running and unlocked while I went into Costco, looked around at stuff, tried on a jacket, rummaged through some pants, went over to get the gum, waited in a big line-up, and then came out.

How fucking stupid am I? Who do you know who has ever left their car running and gone shopping? I just can’t believe I did that. How’s that for forgetfulness?

The good thing was that the car was toasty warm.

Blimey it looks like you had a brain freeze, from the cold. Or it could have been what my kids call a Senior Moment!

The bfg site looks ok to me, its loading fine on firefox anyway….

So I’m not alone in my forgetfulness… woohoo! found you via AZJADE

The brain is the first thing to go ;)

But did you buy a lottery ticket since it might have been your lucky day?

Just to be a know-it-all, the things to look for in a monitor (LCD) are:
1: resolution that matches your video card
2: frame rate of 100Mhz or better (faster)
3: Warranty that includes Zero dark pixel replacement and max of three light pixels.
4: a dealer you can bargain with

Down here in NZ we have a guy who checks every sellers web sites for prices and puts it up on the web. See pricespy.co.nz. I don’t know if there is similar in Canada. I looked on the Costco site and was not impressed with any of the offerings, except perhaps for the DELL.

For working conditions ie 5 days a week on all day, I’d go for a Dell 22″
For home I have two AOC’s can’t find them at Costco though, Chi Mei are OK but they re-brand a lot and sometimes they are not so good.
