Stranger than Fiction

You all know that I hate Will Ferrell. Don’t you know that? I’m sure I must have said it more than once before.

That’s why I rented Stranger than Fiction on the weekend, cuz it’s a Will Farrell movie. Ok, there was nothing else I hadn’t seen and my daughter was here and she hadn’t seen it, so we went for it.

Guess what? I think this is the only movie where I’ve ever liked Will Ferrell. He was good in this role, and it wasn’t the usual type of comedy movie he usually stars in – where I usually find him really, really corny and hammy and ooky.

This movie may not be listed as a comedy but it had it’s funny moments, but more the funny moments that you think about for a minute than the slapstick idiocy that he is known for.

I’d recommend renting it and I’ve changed my mind about Will Ferrell. If he does other movies like this I may even begin to like him.

A good Will Ferrell movie? I guess if you make enough duds, you have to make a good movie. Usually he’s better as a secondary character, kind of like Jack Black.
