Let’s Never Leave
Well, well, well, I’ve been asked to stay at this job until the end of April. WTF is that gonna do to my unemployment? I think it’s screwed. I think I should see about cancelling it but then what happens in May? Will I even have any unemployment weeks left after working all these weeks over at this job.
And you know damned well that if I loved this job it would have ended 3 months ago. But since it bores me silly it keeps getting extended.
Apparently the woman who I’ve been replacing for the last 2 months is only going to work half-days now to ease back into it. She’ll start work at 10:00 and work til 2:00. See? How come I don’t get a job where I get paid and only have to work 5 hours a day?
They’re taking me out to lunch on Thursday since it was supposed to be my goodbye lunch. We’re going anyway. Ok, free lunch, but I’m hoping it’s not like all the other free goodbye lunches where they’ve taken me over to the supermarket that serves food. I wouldn’t mind a half decent restaurant with a half decent meal.
Tomorrow I’ll tell you all about the colon cleanser if I remember. Hmm, can’t wait for that one.
