Can I Get a Witness

Boring, boring all the live long day. The woman I’m replacing didn’t show up again today and then I found out later on this afternoon that she wasn’t expected back until Monday. Hey, thanks for letting me in on that. I’m only the one doing her job… I wouldn’t mind knowing.

I dicked around for most of my time. It’s too bad that it’s a big corporation cuz you know what that means – that means half the sites on the internet are blocked. I can check my emails there but that’s it, just check them. I can’t delete them, or respond to them, or anything else. Assholes. Why not just let people visit the sites they want to visit when things are slow. What the hell else are we supposed to be doing when there’s no work?

Last night I got my hair cut – oh yes, that was a hair cut alright. I guess my hair had gotten so much longer that I wasn’t really expecting this look. But my honey likes it. He came home in a “mood” tonight and told me just how delicious I looked with my new hair cut. Hmmm. I know what that conversation is all about. You do too so we’ll just forego that conversation.

My daughter’s just gone over to the convenience store because tomorrow she’s got the opportunity to go downtown with a group of her friends. That’s gotta sound exciting to her since she’s been cooped up here all week. So she’s gone to the store to take my $20 and get some student bus tickets so she can galavant around tomorrow. I suppose I’ll have to cough up some bucks as well in case they need to buy hordes of junk food to eat while downtown.

Tomorrow night my son is supposed to come over and stay with my daughter while I take my honey to Yuk Yuk’s for his birthday outing (The Keg on Tuesday night doesn’t count as an outing, just as a dinner). I hope that we’ll have some funny comedians tomorrow. No, they’re not all funny. Some of them are pretty lame.

Anyway, I probably won’t get the chance to write tomorrow night and I know how much you’ll miss that so I figured I’d warn you first. Now I’m going to go wash the makeup off my delicious self and get ready for my Thursday night array of favourite TV shows.

Ta ta. Beautiful one signing out here.

Have you tried proxy surfing from work, using sites like “the cloak”? Just Google “proxy surfing” and go from there (trying sites that should be blocked) – you’d be suprised how many companys overlook that… you might even be able to get email and such.

No, Mark, I haven’t tried that (or even heard of it til now). So next week at work I’m going to see if I can sneak onto a blocked site by using “the cloak” – or is it “the craw”, no, not the craw, the CRAW!
