I’m so Happy I could Plotz

WvTF that means. I’m finished my one-month job, and now I’ve got the long weekend as my vacation *woohoo*!

It’s party time, boys and girls. I’ve already opened an ice cold brewski and am slugging it back as I type (no easy feat).

I’m feeling good about myself. Lots of people had such good things to say about me – even in front of me, I could hardly stand it *tell me more*. They said that I was intelligent, knew more than they’d ever know, a nice person, yada, yada *tell me more*. I was downright blushing listening to all that stuff.

They are also going to try to create a job for me. I hope they can succeed since it’s only two directors who want to do that, and I don’t know how easy it is to just ‘create a job’. It would be fabulous though if they could, just because they would pay about the same, they’ve got fabulous benefits and there’s pension sharing (the woman I was working with got $8000 in pension sharing this year and $4000 the last). Who couldn’t live with that? I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

In the meantime they’ve got another 2-week job that they’ve offered me. I, of course, can’t take any more time off of my real job, however, they’d wait until the Christmas holidays for me if I could make it. So when I go back to work on Tuesday, I’ll have to find out how long the office will be closed – if it’s for two weeks, I’m gonna do the other job. If not, it’s my loss of some extra money.

I am not going to ask on Tuesday… “Hi everybody, I’m back. Did you miss me? I missed you. How long are we going to be closed for Christmas holidays, BTW? Will we be closed for two weeks?” Don’t think it would go over too well. They might think something was up (ya think?).

I’m just hoping. And partying. And feeling pretty damned good about myself. Which reminds me, I gotta do up an ad to sell my car. I’ve already taken a picture to put into the car magazine. And nobody’s buying my dining room suite. Stupid fucks. $2500 suite and I’ve dropped the price to $700 now and still no calls.

Ad here: Wrought Iron and Glass Dining Room Suite (table, 6 chairs, and hutch) only $700. C’mon people, I don’t have all day!

Whats the shipping cost to New Zealand then?

BFG, only $4500 shipping costs to New Zealand! A bargain at half the price. I wish I had two!

I am so on the same plain as you right now. Hoping, partying, and sure, even the feeling good about myself bit. I actually smiled a couple times this morning.

Glad to see things are going well. Good luck with the dining room suite.

You too, Mark! It’s good to feel good. I’m happy that you’re happy, it’s a nice change, isn’t it? I sound like a Dr. Seuss book. The sun did not shine, it was too wet to play, so we sat in the house all that cold, cold wet day.
