As Luck Would Have It
I’m at the one-month job again for another one month. Luckily I talked to them yesterday, and they asked me if I’d come in and finish up the stuff I was working on (since I was there longer than a month last year) and work on the other two-week project. I, of course, said “sure”.
I guess it was good to be back. Felt a little more at home than I did picking up all my stuff at my former real job. Everyone welcomed me, were happy to see me, so things were good. Turn permanent now. C’mon.
Yesterday I applied for unemployment, so I hope this one-month job doesn’t screw that up too much. I got paid today and I’m expecting another pay in the mail next week for my 2 weeks notice and record of employment. Two weeks after that I’ll get paid again for this job and another two weeks after that, so I can pay some bills at the moment.
Life is good, isn’t it? See me in 3 months if I don’t have a job *sniff*. Tonight Earl and The Office are on, so I’m happy. Right now I’m just gonna go get my clothes ready for tomorrow, my honey is going out to pick up some grapes (I had a pretty sparse breakfast this morning), and then I’ll wash my face and I’ll be already for television. It’s good to have hope. I could turn religious, you know.
