The Nun
Yes, boys and girls, it’s my daughter and it looks like she’s found her calling… she almost looks angelic. Yes, almost.
Ok, so today we went out looking for Hallowe’en costumes. This is the one she got. She’s lucky she got any. Every year I say to her, “you can wear last year’s costume – you don’t have to have a new costume every year”, and every year she says, “n-hnn-ooo-oooo-ooo, I wore that last y-heee-rrrr”. At least this year she had a better excuse than just whining, it was that they didn’t have any of the Hallowe’en stuff now that they’d moved to the new place, so I broke down and bought her another costume.
If only our office Hallowe’en event was on a different day than Hallowe’en – I’d borrow the costume myself – I am pretty nun-like as you all know.
So other than piano and shopping, I’ve got nothing else planned for tonight except to figure out what to have for dinner (I’m starving, I had some soup today and that was it) and watch that movie with Vince Vaughn and Jennifer Aniston (sp?), whatever it’s called – I can’t remember.
I wouldn’t mind ordering a pizza but I know that that’s pretty much a staple for my daughter over at her dad’s place, so it probably won’t be that. I really am starving – so much so that maybe I’ll go look for a cookie to hold me over til we can decide on some food. Ok, ok, I suppose some salad could hold me over *pffft*.
That’s it – gotta go rummage cupboards.
