Something About Sundays
Yes, there’s something about Sundays that makes me want to jump out of bed at 6:45. I don’t want to miss a moment of that special day. Actually, the only reason I get up early on a Sunday is because I know I’ll have trouble falling asleep at night to get ready for work. So if I woke up at 4:00, I’d be staying up.
My honey just woke up too – early for him, he tries to sleep til noon on a Sunday and I usually let him. I figure it’s good for him to catch up on sleep since he seems so tired during the week. He has plans to work on his car today, I’m wondering if I should do laundry; it’s pretty full.
I’m also thinking that maybe I should clean house. This place is a mess and I really can’t remember the last time we vacuumed or dusted. I have cleaned the bathroom within the month but it’s due again for cleaning. Yes, I’m not the big cleaning type. The place doesn’t usually look like a pigsty or anything, but it’s not one of those ‘eat off the floor’ places. Oh yes, I did wash the kitchen floor a week or two ago. See? I’m pretty clean.
Yes, I will do laundry. Time to put away all the summer stuff and get ready for the fall. Which reminds me, I picked up a jacket I’d taken to the dry cleaners to have the sleeves shortened, and when I got it back, they’d sewn one of the sleeves together. How’s that for professionalism. Too bad I didn’t try it on there like I had planned to do, cuz then I had to trek back and say – is this usual? Then he told me he’d fix it ‘no charge’. Wasn’t that nice of him? No charge. Well, you’re fucking right you’ll fix it no charge. I think when I brought the jacket in, I was able to put my arms into two sleeves. Idiot.
I’m gonna go finish my tea now, sort the laundry and prepare to do this work alone. That’s a good thing, though, cuz maybe I’ll get through some more of the book that has taken me 2 months to read.

I end up trying to do the same thing most Sunday’s. I hate cleaning, but after reading that your going to attempt it, maybe I”ll give it a try as well.
Thanks for changing my blogroll info. Especially since I have to tell everyone manually that I changed addresses. Stupid blogger won’t let me edit the site so I can set up a redirect.

I usally us Sundays to reflect on things…especially the past week and life in general.
Except today – trying to restore my PC with all the software I had – no fun to restore – let me tell you.
Have a blessed Sunday
