I suppose I should wear white tomorrow since Labour Day is Monday and then I can’t wear it any more. I took my white pants into the cleaners, but, of course, I haven’t picked them up yet, so that’s a waste of dry cleaning money since I’ll just have to get them cleaned again next year before I wear them.

I don’t know whoever made the “rule” about not wearing white after Labour Day, but I follow it anyway, cuz I know whenever I see someone wearing it when they’re not supposed to, I think, “hmmm, she doesn’t know any better” (much like people who don’t know which fork to use at a dinner).

I’ve never understood why you can’t wear white after Labour Day? I mean who came up with that rule, I bet it was the same people who got Pluto demoted from being a planet
