Fixing the Fan

Mr. HandymanWho says my honey is a lazy bugger? It wasn’t me. No, really, I didn’t say that.

He does lots of stuff around the house. It just takes him a while to do it. For example, the fan in my daughter’s room. That thing was wobbling away for years, but he got to it (last week).

He’s very handy around the house; pretty much knows how to fix everything. He just fixes it in his own time. Sometimes he doesn’t even fix it because by that point things are so far gone that we might as well just buy something new.

However, the fan in the computer room is now less wobbly, and so is the one in my daughter’s room.

Yay, handyman, yay!

Sounds like me.

Asking me to do DIY is asking for trouble…if you want to keep the house intact.

On the other hand, I can paint for England!

(…and maybe a few other countries as well).

Be thankful that he’s actually able to fix things. He could be like me or as my father likes to say “If you want something fixed call a professional, if you want something destroyed, just call Lyndon”

Isn’t it funny how getting little things like this fixed around the house makes you feel so much better?

You should line up some more jobs for him while he’s in the mood for mending :-)
