The Matador
We rented this movie last night and, guess what? I liked it.
I don’t quite know what genre this movie fits because it was something like a comedy, but not the big laugh type of comedy.
Pierce Brosnan is a hit man. Greg Kinnear is on a business trip and is befriended by Pierce, moreso because they’re both getting hammered in a bar and want some company, Pierce having no friends due to his line of work.
As the story moves along we find out that our hit man is suffering from panic attacks – not a good thing to have when trying to pull off the inconspicuous, skulking sniper act.
I suppose the most amusing aspect to this movie is that the hit man is just like any other guy, killing’s just his business. It’s a little slow moving but I’d watch it again.

Ah ha! I saw the trailer for this a while back, and was wondering whether it might be any good. I’m gonna stick it on my list of possibles for the next trip to the video shop.
