I’m Up and You’re Not

So WTF was I doing up at 5:00 this morning? I wanted to go back to sleep after I got up to pee, but I was afraid that since I already felt wide awake, if I fell back asleep I’d wake up feeling really tired. So why not post about it? It’s not like I’ve got other plans right now.

Well, lookie… it’s almost 6:00 now. Time to get up.

Welcome to my world. I feel exactly the same way about getting up early.

I read somewhere once, that the human body slumbers in (apx) 90 minute cycles, and that if possible, you should sleep in incriments of that length of time. Like, if you sleep 7.5 hours, you’ll wake up feeling refreshed, whereas sleeping 8 hours will make you groggy, because your interupting one of those 90 minute cycles.

So, by that logic, you must have been right at the end of one of these cycles when you got up to pee. Then again, maybe you just really had to pee.
