Dressed to Kill (Myself)

I try to organize myself each night after work so there’s no rushing around in the morning. This means that after I take off my clothes for the day, I try on stuff to wear the next day.

Once I decide what I’m going to wear, then I get the jewellery ready. Then I switch all my stuff from one purse into the purse that’s going to match what I’ll wear tomorrow.

This is all very good for morning times. However, what happens when the weather forecast for the next day turns out to be wrong and all of a sudden it’s a freezing day? Well that’s what happened yesterday.

I was dressed all “summer-y-like” and it was farging winter outside. I didn’t notice it much just going to my car in the morning, but running around at lunch, and by the time I was going home, I was an icicle just walking into the house.

Today looks like another cool day (which is great cuz it will save on air conditioning), the trees are blowing over sideways. Luckily I don’t have to be organized for what I’ll wear on the weekend.

Good planning has its drawbacks.

We actually had frost here the other night in Sault Ste. Marie. In June. Frost. I’m disgusted.
