Munich
Luckily for me, the fax rang at 6:20 this morning, otherwise I’d still be lounging around in bed til all hours (perhaps 8:00).
Last night we rented Munich. There was nothing left to rent that we haven’t seen already (pretty sad, huh?) and so, even though I hadn’t heard what it was about, the box said “winner of 5 somethings” or “nominated for 5 somethings” (who pays attention), so I figured we’d get it.
Well, remember I told you we’d rented Mrs. Henderson the other day? We watched all of Mrs. Henderson, which reminded me of one of those old movies that you watch on TV because you’re bored, and you find the movie slightly amusing. That was Mrs. Henderson. I think they could have done more with it, but they didn’t, and so it was just ok.
However, the key words here are that we “watched all of it”. We turned off Munich, perhaps half an hour into it. The movie was based on the hostage incident of 1972 (you know, when I was a young teen and didn’t watch the news at all, or the Olympics).
I was bored silly and my snookey had no qualms about turning it off either. Perhaps it gets really exciting an hour through it. I’ll never know. And I don’t care.

Let me tell you, we watch the entire movie. My sweetheart fell asleep 3 times and I managed to fall asleep only 2 times. And let me tell you, the end of the movie didn’t make any sense what so ever. So, you really didn’t miss anything for not watching it all the way through.
Happy Mother’s Day
