Holy Crap
I can’t believe that I haven’t written anything since Wednesday. I’ve been a busy girl. Not with anything interesting, just working late every night (and today).
So it’s not that I’ve been lazy, I’ve actually been quite ambitious, and way too tired to even get on the computer for half the week because it was too late by the time I got home and then I just felt like vegging.
I’m still waiting to get my new, new glasses from Costco. I took them in to exchange 2 weeks ago and I still haven’t got them. They were giving my honey some big song and dance when he went in to check for me, but they certainly didn’t pull that shit once I got there. Good thing, cuz I was in a kind of freaking mood when I got there, so the slightest bit of horseshit would probably have set me off.
My daughter wants some new glasses for her birthday present, but I’ve forgotten to book an appointment for an eye test for her any time I was there. I found out that kids’ eye exams are free – I didn’t know that. So I’ll have to make sure they’re free at Costco, otherwise we’ll take her somewhere else and just buy the glasses she wants there. Her birthday’s in 3 days and she’ll be the big 13 – a teenager, Lord help us all.
I shouldn’t say that. She’s a pretty good kid so far. Let’s hope she stays that way… pretty good, I mean – not the kid part.
My snookey’s just gone out to dinner with his son and he didn’t rent us a movie for tonight. See what happens when I’m not here? No movies, no nothing. Maybe we’ll watch that third Harry Potter movie which we own from the DVD club. Quite frankly I don’t really feel into it since I can’t remember the first or second one. We started rewatching the first one last weekend (or the weekend before, who remembers?) and I fell asleep so I still haven’t seen it.
Right now I think I’m just gonna put on some tunes, maybe surf some blogs, have some brewskis and relax. I expect to be working again tomorrow, but this time from home, so perhaps I’ll get a sleep in *woohoo*.
