Forget About It

I was gonna post that password-protected post but now I don’t feel like it. I might have felt like it if the landlady hadn’t come over here and yakked her fool head off for 45 minutes, but now I’m just thinking of watching a movie.

We rented Mrs. Henderson for tonight. I know, we don’t usually rent a movie on a Friday night, but WTF. And, of course, this does not look like ‘our kinda movie’, but there wasn’t a helluva lot to choose from (which means tomorrow night’s movie will be just as slim in the pickings).

We went to visit my mother tonight and she was actually downstairs in the home (out of her room and up and about), talking with another woman she hung out with when she was first there. So maybe she’s not doing so badly after all. It didn’t seem so. She actually knew who I was (but not who my snookey was).

She’s probably got more years left in her, after all, don’t they say that ‘only the good die young’?

I’d love to rant and rave about work, but who knows where I’d even start with that, so why bother.

Time to watch some stupid movie I’ll probably hate. I’ll let you know. Bunch of old people *pffft*.

You sound like you’re having a sucky week. Hopefully things pick up on Sunday and your kids do something nice for you for Mother’s Day.

Goodluck with the movie, I don’t seem to remember that one. So it probably means I’ll never see it, unless it’s on television.
