You’ll Get Yawndice
I wasn’t doing much these past couple of days – boring myself silly, I guess.
Monday I watched The Apprentice and I was actually happy that the fat guy got the boot. Unfortunately, he was Canadian. But he was just such an asshole. Couldn’t keep his fat yap shut in the boardroom and ended up sounding like a real idiot in his arguments (and you know I’ve listened to arguments like that before *douche bag with a pussy chaser – or whatever the fuck it was*). Moron.
Last night we watched American Idol and I was underwhelmed. I keep wondering why I keep watching this show, year after year after year – and Canadian Idol as well, but I guess it’s just because of the lack of TV shows on the air that are interesting to me.
Tonight I’ll probably watch the voting results but really, who cares? I care enough to hope that Chicken Little gets the boot, even though last night was probably the best I’ve seen him perform, if I don’t count how many times this kid was off the note or just under it.
Having perfect pitch is a curse, let me tell ya. If you don’t have it, I’m sure lots of singers sound pretty damned good. If you do have it you hear every stinking bit of a note that’s not right on. Not that I’m some great singer – I’m just a great “hearer” (and one who has decided that it’s ok to make up my own damned words).
There are some new TV shows starting tonight (I think). One was called Heist (maybe) and I thought it might be interesting. It made me think along the lines of Oceans Eleven/Twelve. Another was called Anonymous? Unanimous? I forget. But they were holding a bunch of people together in a room until they decided on something. Again, I think that’s what it was about, I’m barely remembering the commercial here. So I may watch these new shows to see what they’re like.
Aside from that I’m bored, bored, bored. I tried the Blog Mad tonight and surfed some sites. The good thing is that I got to see different sites than were on Blog Explosion, and I earned some points.
Work has been a bitch all week so far, especially since we were having network problems that I was trying to fix at the same time as a whole bunch of other stuff was going on. I was going to work late last night just to try to catch up on things but, in the end, I said, “fuck it”. It’ll wait til work hours tomorrow.
So go ahead and tell me something interesting. Anything’ll be more interesting than what’s going on in my life at the moment.
