This Weekend’s Movies
We didn’t rent a movie this weekend because I’d bought one from the DVD Club. That movie was Saw II. And if you’re gonna watch it, watch Saw first so you’ll understand more of what’s going on in the second one.
As far as horror movies (if this is a horror movie) go, I kinda like the Saw movies. They don’t really have a psycho killer, the psycho causes people to kill themselves or try to escape dying by doing something hideous. I like them.
Today we also bought From Dusk til Dawn, since I tend to collect Quentin Tarantino movies. I like those too. We were also going to buy Jackie Brown but when we got up to the cash, what we thought the sticker said was $9.99 (which we thought wasn’t too bad for an old movie and my least favourite of Tarantino’s stuff) actually said $39.99 cuz wasn’t it a collector’s edition, doncha know. So fuck that. I’m not paying $40 for a movie I don’t even like that much. Hell, I’m not paying $40 for a movie I love. I’ll buy it from the club for a normal price.
