I’ve Done it!
You may notice a slight change. But, after all, I’m now using WordPress 2 *woohoo*. I did it! Idiot that I am, I have managed to keep my same old database and just upgrade.
But boy it took me a long time to deactivate all those plugins. And it’s gonna take me a longer time to find some that are compatible with this version, and are similar to those I was using. I’ve already found some that aren’t listed in the compatibility list, so I guess I’ll have to do without those features.
Unlike Minna, I have no idea how to turn off the wysiwyg function in my admin. panel, so I be using it for now.
So you know I’ll be a busy camper for tonight (and possibly tomorrow) searching for the stuff I want on here to get it back to my “perfect” way. I may also check out some other themes, but it’s usually a big pain in the ass trying to “purple them all up” and make them my own, so I may save that for my boring weekend ahead.
Ya know, if it wasn’t for Minna giving me some strength and courage there, I might not have done this for months.
Let’s celebrate!

Yeah, it’s in an odd place: your User information. So, just click on Users and there’s a checkbox at the bottom “Use the visual rich editor when writing”. Whoosh! Sillyness away!
Looking wonderful here! I hope you find compatible plugins. I don’t have so many plugins (well, I guess I do) and only had to look for a replacement for RunPHP. And do that little hack for SpamKarma. Do you have problems with the comment count? (We’ll see that now, won’t we.)
