More Blog Whining
How many times can I bring up the subject, but here I go again. I’ve discovered something else that bugs me about people’s blogs. It’s the bitch label.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been surfing, mostly through Blog Explosion these days since it earns me points, but somebody will be doing the ‘about me’ stuff.
Invariably it includes yada, yada, bitch, yada, yada, and it bothers me. Not the word itself, of course, we all know that I have put many a sailor to shame with this mouth.
Do they think this is cool? Self recognized bitch, beat you to the punch, if I want to say something snotty I can because I told you I’m a bitch?
Frankly, I hardly ever use the word bitch, even when I’m mad at someone. I’ll normally call them something else, like idiot, or asswipe, fuckhead, or something else more offensive.
When I look up the word on the net, one of the definitions described it as this:
The word bitch — originally used for the female members of the canid species, specially dogs — is more often employed in a figurative sense as an insult for a promiscuous woman, or a malicious, spiteful, domineering, intrusive, and/or mean person.
The malicious, spiteful part I agree with. But to me it also infers some intelligence in order to be able to carry out the maliciousness or spitefulness. So I hardly ever call anyone a bitch because I don’t usually credit those people who anger me with too much intelligence.
And the labelling of bitch? I just find that stupid, like any other label. It would probably be cool not to say it, and just have people think it.

Well, I have to agree with you on the word b****, ha. You know my post I wrote today about assumptions – I almost went don’t the same avenue, but was to scared to go that route
..I can see this is going to be a great stay at your blog
