Yes, today is my 49th birthday. 
Can you believe it? 49 stinking years old. Who ever knew I’d be this old.
I still think the same way as when I was 30, maybe even 25, but nobody’s talking about how young I look any more.
A guy at the beer store was talking to me one day and guessed that I was in my mid-forties. Well, big fucking woo. Isn’t that damned young looking. Oh, you thought I was 3 years younger than I actually am? The clock is not stopping here.
Anyway, I haven’t written for a couple of days, first cuz I forgot one day, and second cuz my site was down again last night.
Netfirms is starting to piss me off with these database problems. The site was down a couple of days ago too.
What really makes me mad is that I host 5 domains with them and have set up 4 other companies with them, so they get quite a bit of business from this old broad. And I set up those other sites before I even realized that they had a referral plan where I could make money.
I told them I’d like them to switch servers because this problem just happens on this site but the guy said it was doubtful that they’d do that. Where’s the customer service in that?
If this continues to happen I may just be looking at switching my site(s). Let’s hope they can get their act together.
On another note, my honey offered to take me out to dinner tonight. I told him to save his money and cook me something. How about a yummy grilled cheese birthday sandwich?
He already bought me my birthday present – my new C: drive. So far everything’s working well with it.
Yesterday I bought myself a birthday present… Quake 4. I installed that and started to play it, and I hate it.
It’s dark like Doom 3, moves really slowly even though I’ve got 2 gigs of RAM, and it seems I get killed really easily even though I’m at the very first level. So much for that recommendation.
So that’s enough writing for now. I just got up at 11:00, I went for the big sleep in; woke up at 8:30, back to sleep, woke up at 10:00, back to sleep, kept sleeping til 11:00. It was great. I haven’t even had a weekend sleep in that late lately.
Alright. I’ll go apply for jobs. One more time…. happy birthday to me.
