My Prizes
I didn’t get to write last night because my honey’s son was over doing a video with his dad for some kinda work promotion he’s trying for. He was hogging the computer room for most of the night, and I didn’t have anything to say anyway, so I wasn’t bitching.
The job I’m on has their United Way campaign in full swing this week, so I get to spend money on bake sales and raffles and guess who’s inside the costume.
I actually won some prizes from the raffle today. I won a photo album, a deck of cards (inside a case) that has instructions for making drinks on them, and a really cool pen. It’s nice to win something isn’t it? Not quite as nice as it would be to win the lottery, but I’ll take what I can get.
The only problem I’m having working at that place is that their offices are so hot. I feel like I’m going through menopause, or having hot flashes, cuz I’m sweating half my time there. The other half of the time I’m removing my jacket and sitting around half naked.
I know it’s not menopause cuz everybody else in the building is boiling too, so you can just stop thinking about how old I am and how it’s probably about time I had the hot flashes thing.
I guess it doesn’t help that I’m just a hot person who’s hot all the time. My honey uses me as his own little furnace to warm him up when he’s cold.
I can’t wear slippers or socks either, cuz if my feet are hot, I’m even hotter. I always have the windows open, even in the winter. I guess hearing this you’ll understand my big love of air conditioning.
Anyway, I’m hoping that The Office is on again tonight (stupid bastards, it better be on). Right now I’m going to see what to wear to work tomorrow and play a little more FEAR before television time.
