Lately I find myself talking to my computer quite a bit. Yes, this is out-loud talking, and it’s much needed support for my poor computer.
Come on high speed cable, you can do it. C’mon, I have faith in you. Load up, come on, load.
I don’t know WTF is with this “high speed cable” cuz let me say that I don’t find it too fucking high speed. Why should I be sitting here waiting for pages to load, counting the percentages, 34% loaded…. 35% loaded… 38% loaded, if it’s such high speed.
It’s not high speed at all. Sometimes I feel like I’m on dial up, it’s so slow.
But if you call Rogers and say, “why are things so slow?”, they’ll tell you to go to some ridiculous site with nothing on it, like toast.net and see what your loading speed seems like.
I’ve got news for Rogers. I don’t spend my time on the net at toast.net. Much like everybody else on here, I surf to a whole bunch more sites.
Even my own site sometimes says that it’s taken 5 seconds to load.
I’d like some answers. I’d like to find someone who offers fast service that actually is fast. I’m pissed off that I was sucked in to buying my own Extreme High Speed Modem and paying more money for something that is no faster than it was when I was renting the not so extreme high speed modem. Lying bastards.
