Well I did hear back this morning from the guy on the Monday job interview. It was the thanks but no thanks phone call.
He told me he’d hired someone with a little more customer service background, which wouldn’t be too hard since I have absolutely no customer service background, and someone who had previous experience in that field – again, no experience in that field here.
He was fairly nice and told me that he wanted to keep my resume because he expected the company to be growing soon. I don’t know how that fits in to the interview where he told me he wanted to get rid of half the office space, but, regardless, I didn’t burn any bridges. I told him that it was nice to meet him, yada yada, and left my options open in case he wasn’t lying.
Anyway, see the button on the right where it says “Live Chat Now”? I added that cuz it’s free for a 21-day trial, and figured I’d see if anybody wanted to chat with me live… bound to be more interesting than chatting with me dead. It’s kinda neat, so go ahead and try it if you want, it’s not like I’m going anywhere til this evening.
Tonight I’ll be taking my daughter to a school barbecue. I didn’t even know about it til my ex called and said that he had to work late and would I take her. So I dropped my honey off at work so that we can save some time.
He normally gets home around 5:30, but if I pick him up at 5:00 (with Tim’s in hand) we can save some time and head over to pick up my daughter and tra la la, run off to the barbecue.
Perhaps I’ll get to meet her teacher. So I guess I better get somewhat dolled up. At least have a shower, you should see my hair today, it’s giving directions in every way… go west, go north, look to the east Luke.
