Sometimes
Sometimes I get bored with the sites on my blogroll; sometimes people don’t update for long periods of time, sometimes they get too political for my tastes, sometimes I don’t have a fucking clue what they’re trying to say with their writing.
At those times I search out other sites to add. I generally do this by finding a random blog and going through their blogroll to see if there’s anything I like.
Yesterday was one of those days but I have to say that of all the sites I visited, I didn’t find any that I thought I liked enough to add to my own blogroll.
I’ve even taken people off my blogroll because they haven’t updated for months. I try not to do this… I check back day after day and still nothing. So I finally give in and say, “fuck it, what’s the point in me checking and checking, only to see an abandoned site”.
You may have noticed that gravatar.com has been having some problems. You can see the problems on this site, where sometimes a gravatar shows up, and sometimes you see a little grey or black box in its place. I don’t know what the problem is, but I hope they get it fixed soon because I’m anal enough to be bothered by the little box.
Tonight I rented Spanglish. Not because I had any interest in seeing it but because there was nothing else there that I hadn’t seen and wanted to see.
Did I tell you about when I went shopping the other day and came out of the store to find a shopping cart embedded into the front of my car? After much discussion with store employees I was told to call the mall property management company.
My car has a scratch, dent and mark on the front passenger side and I want it fixed. The property management company, however, seems to have a problem with returning their phone calls. Today I made my second call, so I’ll wait til Monday to see if that one’s returned.
How much do you want to bet that these assholes are going to tell me that they take no responsibility for any damages to my property while it’s in the parking lot. I’m waiting to hear that one.
I have been contemplating my next steps if I hear that famous line. I’ve sued people before (and won) and if I hear that line, I may just go checking out that parking lot to see if there’s a sign when I enter that tells me they take no responsibility for damages (it wouldn’t surprise me).
Uh, my snookey just got home. He was going to look at a new (to him) car today since his car needs so much work it would be cheaper to buy another one. So I’ll hang up now so I can find out how the car viewing went. Ciao bellas.
