Mississauga

I went trucking off to my interview in Mississauga this morning. I was a nervous wreck, gripping onto the steering wheel on the highway as if I was choking some bad boy who tried to steal my purse.

However, it only took me half an hour to get there. I was in the Tim’s by me at 8:30 getting a coffee, and I was in the Tim’s over there at 9:00 getting yet another coffee – and let us not forget the fat free raspberry muffin that I had lots of time to eat.

My interview was at 10:00. I went up about 9:45 and the guy saw me right away.

The entire process didn’t give me a feel one way or another, but he did mention that the hours were 8:30-5:00, and with the lower pay that I agreed I would take because they have benefits, I’d be making even less money per day because there’s that extra half-hour from 8:30-9:00 that I don’t usually work.

As I said yesterday, I may end up being offered this job only because it’s 25km away, and I don’t really want to have to take the highway to work, so it would be just my luck that this is the one that I’d get. I guess we’ll see. I won’t be disappointed if I don’t get it.

So I have nothing left to do today. I made my snookey a delicious tuna sammich for lunch and he’s gone back to work now. I could choke my chicken or something but I know that my honey is dying for some action so I shouldn’t be selfish.

I suppose I’ll end up playing some Zuma, or maybe Painkiller. I restarted the Painkiller game yesterday to the easiest of easy levels so I could get past the giant monster guy, and I did. So now I’m at a level I remember having a hard time getting past the last time. But I have taken quite a few screenshots, so if you’re into some game desktops, go to the gallery and save the 1024×768 size pics under Painkiller.

I know, I’ve gotta check out Saturday’s paper for more jobs. You see? I’ve got something to do after all.
