Another Great Day
In case no one’s noticed, the gravatar stuff is still fucked up. It’s taking him a long time to work out the problems at gravatar.com, but let’s hope things get straightened around at some time soon.
Again today, I have to say that I’m really enjoying myself at work. It’s been a long time since I’ve worked in such a great environment with intelligent people, as opposed to people who think they’re God’s gift to humanity.
I will be getting busier by next week and I’m looking forward to it. Geez, I wouldn’t even mind working overtime. What a fucking idiot. But I wouldn’t, that’s how much I’m liking it.
The no smoking is going pretty well still but the cold is still hanging in there like crazy.
Since I coughed so much yesterday, I decided today that I’d take the cold medication again, so I took two Dayquil Liquicaps before I went to work.
The funny thing is that I didn’t have the “stone” that I normally get with these medications, but what I did have today was a big red face.
At some point after lunch, my cheeks, right beside my nose, turned all red. It looked really weird, and it’s not something that’s ever happened to me before.
Perhaps it was an allergic reaction, but, if so, I’m not sure to what. There were no other kind of allergic symptoms happening. I guess we’ll see tomorrow if it happens again, because I’m going to take the medication again.
Tonight I’m going to play some more of my new FEAR game. It’s fun to have a new game, but this one doesn’t compare to Half Life 2. This one is mostly just a shoot-em-up kind of FPS game. Half Life 2 set a new standard for games.
Then, tonight is The Office. So my life is great. You’re jealous and I don’t blame you, I’d be jealous too if it wasn’t me.
