Would you believe…
Don Adams, born in 1926, died of a lung infection on Sunday. Apparently he broke his hip a year ago and was in bad health ever since.
I have to say that I loved that show. I watched it all the time as a kid. That show probably helped form my sense of humour, which is very stupid and sarcastic.
Even now I’ve sometimes seen Get Smart listed on TV late at night. If it hadn’t been so late at night, I would have watched it, no matter how “mature” I am now.
Before Get Smart, he did the voice on the Tennessee Tuxedo cartoon back in 1963. After Get Smart, he was the voice of Inspector Gadget.
I thought the guy was hilarious and I’m sorry to hear that he’s died. Bye, Agent 86 I know you’re at peace “and loving it”.
